Omnia continues to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions, and in FY24 we reported lower carbon emissions of 156 759 tonnes, a decrease of 75% since FY20.
Investments in multiple solar projects has yielded a significant increase in renewable energy generated to 12 976MWh. The volume of water we recycle has improved by 24% in FY24 from FY23. Our used oil collection has increased by 33% to 24 Dry ML – which is notable as one litre of used oil prevents potential contamination of one million litres of water.

In South Africa, Omnia is rated as level 2 in terms of broad-based black economic empowerment (B-BBEE). A level 2 status affords a B-BBEE procurement recognition of 125% for Omnia’s customers.
